Break of Dawn [Manzanita judging] COMPLETED

sorry, forgot the bush. that radiates faint illusion and moderate conjuration.

The abjuration aura does not seem to radiate from a trap but rather from a pair of rings which are sewn into the linign of one of the pillows.

"These aren't trapped then, Mordik?" Ally taps her lip, "This could be a magic item or some sort of key to solving one of the other puzzles. There was no mysterious Druidic voice in this room, so I'm not sure if there's aught else to do here."

"It may be the case we must solve the riddles in order, and after the rom wth the bush is the turn of the birds. I surmise we must catch at least one of the birds without harming them." says Odno.

Mordik does take his time when asked about the abjuration.

Hm. Nah, I dunna see anything trapped with it. Just a coupl'o magic rings.

"It's odd. They usually don't come in pairs like that. And I saw just one aura and not two, as if it is all the same magic. Maybe they let you communicate between the people with the two rings, so that you can do two of the puzzles simultaneously? No, that wouldn't be Abjuration...maybe they let you protect the other person--there's a spell like that, but I can't use it yet. Or maybe one is warded and the wearer of the 'master' ring can zap the one wearing the 'servant' ring."

(OOC: Huh? Why would we need to catch a bird? Is that just a random guess of Odno's or did you read the Druidic SBLOCK?)

ooc: Er, yes, after Mordik made a comment on it I understood that Quarion would translate it (and even was somewhow convinced that he did, having read the posts perhaps too quickly)

(ooc: Mordik commented that the whispering was new, nothing about what was said, because he couldn't understand it.)

(OOC: Cool. Rae hasn't been posting for a while, so maybe it was actually a good thing that Odno looked in the wrong SBLOCK. Let's pretend Quarion told us this)

"Right then, let's catch us an illusion bird," Aly agrees, and she helps the others do this.
