The whole Buffy 'slayer school' thing kind of left me a little cold, actually. Fun, but not filling. The Dawn story was pretty good, and the Xander payoff was worth waiting the whole episode for. I do think it was a clever way to deal with the 'dawn may be slayer' issue...but at the same time, I'm getting a little pissed at Buffy continually ignoring poor Dawn. I know she's busy and all, but still...didn't she learn anything from last year? Did she completely forget her promise to Dawn?

(Sigh)

Ya, the Buffy ignoring Dawn is really being driven home a little hard. The Xander speech was excellent, it really shows how well he understands the dynamics of the people.

So who else thinks the locator spell cast by Willow actually did hit Dawn as well as Amanda, and that she really is a "Slayer Candidate?"

Seems a little fishy that she got spazzed by the spell...and it's just like the writers to drag things out, spin, fold and mutilate them...

The Xander speech was good as well.

I'm going to pretty much agree with the masses here. The Dawn stuff was good. The Buffy stuff lacked punch. The twist was cool. Xander's admission to Dawn was great. I've been waiting years for a speech like that. Well done. Ended the episode on a "high" note.

With no new ep new week and sweeps coming up I expect some payoffs soon for all this.

on a side note, ive been wondering when Andrew would start referencing Dragon Ball Z. It just seemed to me that it was bound to happen eventually.

Loved the Dawn stuff; love dawn in general really.

Xander's speech at the end really made this one of the most memorable episodes in the series for me.
