Just to stray OT for a bit, did anyone else notice (for those with the DVDs) that one of the watcher's council helpers that got vampified was none other than the actor who plays Malcom Reed on Enterprise?Henry said:Buffy's slayer school was quite good in my opinion. The part where she left the four girls alone against the vampire reminded me so much of the watcher test from the Third Season. (Anyone remember Kralik, the spoon-fed vampire?) I kind of wonder if that's where she got the idea from?
Actually, if you notice, Buffy has been very Obi-wan about training the new slayers. She's been using alot of black and white terms (kill or be killed, feed on instinct) and in some cases blatently lied (I believe she mentioned that all vamps are basically the same). I think she is speaking in terms like these to get a point across about all the killing and death. She seems like she doesn't want to muddy up the picture so-to-speak. And I don't blame her considering that she has had sexual relationships with 2 very powerful and at one time, dangerous vampires.Taluron said:It's interesting that Buffy keeps talking to the Slayer candidates about the fact that one of them might be next slayer, the scoobies are talking about how Buffy would have to die for that to happen. Faith hasn't even been mentioned this season that I know of. I know that it's been said she'll be in 2-4 episodes but everybodies dancing around it quite well.
