Legend
Fighter -> halfling wild sorcerer. Dex/Con based, uses booming blade, and spams shield which causes lots of wild surges. Eventually gets quicken + buffs.
Cleric -> Variant Human Lore bard 6/Paladin. Has inspiring leader and healer feats.
Rogue -> knowledge cleric 2/shadow monk.
Wizard -> hunter ranger with ritual caster feat. Shouts "Firebolt" every time he shoots an arrow.

I'd play it. I've been fascinated by the idea of all-single class parties for a while; one day my group will eventually play the all gnome wizard party I've been fighting for. :)

Build a 5e Monk for skills and you can replace the Classic Rogue.
If he's a Sun Soul Monk he can fill in for the Archer too.

You could almost pull off a party of all monks.

Fighter: Open Hand Monk
Cleric: Tranquility Monk
Wizard: Sun Soul Monk (I would put the Way of the Four Elements Monk here, if it wasn't so terrible)
Rogue: Shadow Monk

Any Big Bad they face will find him/herself constantly stunned and unable to fight back.

I'd play that. 4 wild elf monks, keep in range with bows, if something manages to approach, you stun and move. If you're boxed in, you whip out the kung-fu.

Option 7: We're on a mission from <INSERT DEITY HERE>

Fighter: Avenger Paladin w/ soldier and GWM
Cleric: Ancients Paladin w/ acolyte
Wizard: Devotion Paladin w/ sage
Rogue: Any Paladin w/ criminal, Skilled, and SS

They don't fit the big 4 as well, but I envision this as a special forces group that could take on almost anything.
