Bull rush as part of a charge

Pushing them past people provokes attacks of op too, so if you can push something past 3 people, thats possible 3 attacks of op.

And about a 58% chance one or more of them will end up targeting you!

Go for the cheese, small spiked chain! all the reach, half the hands!
I can't bring myself to do it :) I have to draw a line in the sand somewhere..... It's like my self-imposed restriction on not using anything from a Faerun or other setting sourcebooks, or spells from outside the PHB.

Then again, a small chain would be what, 1d6 damage? That's attractive in itself as I HATE rolling/dropping 2d4s... But I would then lose my 1.5x Str bonus to damage.....

I think the FAQ mentions that when you go down in weapon size, you lose Reach. Which of course is another one of those made-up rules. I mean, if I had a Large dagger, I wouldn't GAIN reach, would I? Bah the FAQ.... Just thought I would mention it though ;)

Reallah? thats interesting, wouldnt that mean that small creatures with small weapons dont have reach, or do they use it as a game balancing mechanic that doesnt make sense? *if a small creature can reach 10ft, why couldnt a medium creature?*

I'll check the faq, i didnt know this, of course, faq means nothing :P

Found it...

How do reach weapons work if they are of a different size than the creature wielding them? Say, an ogre wielding a Small or Medium glaive, or a human with the Monkey Grip feat wielding a Large ranseur? What is the reach for each situation?

A reach weapon doubles its wielder’s natural reach, but only if the weapon is at least of an appropriate size for the wielder. Wielding a “too-small” reach weapon grants no reach.

An ogre (Large) wielding a Medium or smaller reach weapon gains no reach from the weapon, and could thus attack foes either 5 feet or 10 feet distant (as normal for a Large creature wielding a non-reach weapon).

A human (Medium) wielding a Large or larger reach weapon could attack a creature 10 feet away (but no further), and could not use the weapon to attack a creature 5 feet away (as normal for a Medium creature wielding a reach weapon). A human wielding a Small reach weapon would gain no reach from the weapon.

The Player’s Handbook isn’t as clear on this as it could be, although an example of reach in action on page 113 in the Player’s Handbook provides pretty strong support: “A typical Large character wielding a reach weapon of the appropriate size can attack a creature 15 or 20 feet away . . .”. While this reference doesn’t mention the ability to wield a reach weapon larger than the appropriate size, allowing such a weapon to grant reach to its wielder is a reasonable extension of the spirit and intent of the rule.

That makes absolutely no sense to me *tho i understand it as a game mechanic to prevent twinks*

Small characters, with small reach weapons, still have a reach of 10'

Medium characters with small reach weapons....dont...get...the reach?

What are thier hands too big, they take up too much of the weapon?

Really? cause your in thier square?. didnt know

It's specific to Bull Rush; an AoO targeting the defender has a 25% chance of accidentally targeting the attacker.

So if three AoOs are made, the chance that all three are aimed correctly is .75 x .75 x .75, or about .42... which means there's about a 58% chance at least one of them will be aimed at the person doing the Rushing, rather than the person being Rushed.
