Bullywugs in 3E

yeah, i saw he got the answer he wanted. i was just adding a little extra.

yeah and I'm proud to say it was two plastic bullywugs (and a rubber carrion crawler) that first got me interested in DnD

ergo I've got a soft spot for bullywugs (and a whole lot of warts too:P)

Web Enhancement for Player's Guide to Faerûn, page 3, has the Update Booklet format update for the bullywug.:)

I had a feeling it was there.

BUT- what the hell are the Realms doing stealing a bunch of cool generic monsters, such as the bullywug, peryton, abishai, firenewt, etc anyway??

And just how do they need to be "updated" to 3.5?

Quasqueton

Skill point and feat acquisition (not their selection necessarily, but how many they get) changed for most all monsters between 3e and 3.5 (monsters now gain skill points and feats like PCs) for one.

Ah, but Monsters of Faerûn is not a Realms book, just like Races of Eberron is not an Eberron book.

(Weren't firenewts Realms creatures before?)

Uh....okay. I've been doing that since I got the 3.0 books a year or so ago.

Then why are there so many creatures in there that are useless to me since I don't run the Realms??

No, they are originally from the 1e Fiend Folio, predating the FR as a setting.

*grumbles about monster stealers...*
