Bye Monte!

Well, as always, I am willing to admit I may be wrong. Once I actually hold it and peruse it (that will take some serious time :) ) I may change my mind. If it can meet the goal Monte just laid out in terms of making my prep as DM less time consuming, I'm more likely to buy it.

I don't post here a lot, but mostly my posts generate few responses, there certainly seems to be a lot of passion around this product...

As for it containing adventures in the book, I must have somehow missed that part. I admit to being dazzled by all the other parts of the book and missing that somehow. And I mean dazzled. It looks beautiful, but my RP money is limited right now, so I'd written this off as a product I'd have purchased when I didn't have kids and other hobbies, but I'll certainly be checking it out. Maybe I'll let Monte personally sell me in Indy :D

You could win one if you are free Friday at 1:00 pm.

"How Much Do YOU Want Ptolus?" Contest

If you want to win yourself a copy of the Big Book, show us you've got the the muscle! As reported in the August issue of Dragon...

"Contestants hold a copy of the 6-pound book straight out. The last one to be able to do so without having his arms collapse will win the book!"

Join us at Booth 1601 on Friday at 1 pm and prove your worth. (Check with us in advance just in case sign-up is needed.) We stay as long as it takes to find a winner!

Other prizes offered include official Ptolus miniatures courtesy of Paizo Publishing!

Peace and smiles :)

I saw that!

I almost talked to a few of my Yoga/Zen/mind over matter friends and asked them to teach me some kind of trance I could enter so I could ignore the pain and just hold that puppy up. As a marginally strong 42 year old, I have my doubts....Plus, I hope to be playing in the DDM championships during that time (if I may it through the grinder on Thursday).
