Campaign Suite Example

I'm working on some mercenary ideas. One of the things I like about Campaign Suite is that it supports PrCs, especially those found in Librum Equitis.

Below is an example of some Phalanax-Warriors I made.

Black colored text is Open Game Content, and is licensed for public use under the terms of the Open Game License v1.0a.

Designed with Campaign Suite (c) 2002 Twin Rose Software

I'ts not bad but I have to look over eveyrthing a little more and decide what I'm trying to do with it. I'd have to decide where I'd want more stuff to go and be for example.

LE2

I'm happy to say that Librum Equitis 2 is almost finished (or is finished) being entered for Campaign Suite, which means a heck of a lot easier time for me generating the sample NPCs for Librum Equitis 2 Print Edition!
It certainly was useful for Necromancer's Legacy (the print edition of Gar'Udok)!
I'm not very good when it comes to learning new interfaces, but I was able to pick up pretty quickly the basics, even adding new feats to the list.

Campaign Suite

Thanks. If there's something missing that you'd like to see, please drop us a note. As long as it's within the licensing agreements, we'll see what we can do. You know where to find us.

It is finished now and sent to my boss, though Chris has to take it through some possible last minute "import" conversions (and the mighty edit) before he sends it out.

I know because I was the one who entered the product into Campaign Suite. I also did LE1, as well as many others for CS.

I've gotten the CSC file for LE2. Couple things I need to tweak for the code to understand - things I never thought of. Try and remember that I'm one person trying to predict the imaginations of dozens of writers and designers. But the few things there are fairly minor. "

1. Prerequisite: “Spellcasting: ability to cast at least two necromancies and bestow curse.”

Trying to decide if something like this should even be in the program. It just seems a little too.. Subjective .. For common usage of the program and might add too much complexity for peoples taste.

Weren't you working on some way to import PCGen's Data files? (or was that the character file? I can't remember now)

If so, we would set that as (in the Data files)

PRESPELLTYPE:2,Necrmoancy[tab]PRESPELL:1,Bestow Curse

And viola, could take it unless you had 2 spells of the necromantic nature and the spell Bestow Curse. :)

It's a little harder in our situation because things like spell schools are not hardcoded. You have to do a different sort of query. It's possible with the data files as they are now, the question is how to do it with the menus and screens that allow the end-user to edit. Very rarely does a CS user need to ever manually edit a data file, just need to work up a way that they can for this instance.

I think I have it figured out anyway.
