I would rule no, since when the spell was cast in the object, it wasn't cast as a counterspell. When you activate an item you simply use a charge of an already cast and stored spell. The only case I would allow it is if the caster of the object made it such that the spell is cast as a counter spell ie a wand of fireball counterspell, it can only counter fireball not throw them.Dracuwulf said:Can command word or use activated items be used to counterspell or be counterspelled?
