Can Dextyr Keep All These Strikers Alive? (DM: JoeNotCharles, Ozymandias79 Judging)

[sblock=OOC observation]
Don't think you needed perception, as both halflings moved out and lost their stealth as per JNC's Status post, so you may be able to sneak your hunters quarry in there still (not that you needed it with those fantastic damage rolls)

[sblock=OOC:] Ozy is right. Anyway, I can always double back. Also, the longbow +1 does an additional 1d6 damage on a critical hit. Damage: 1d6=4.

Thanks, Ozymandias [/sblock]

"Kill Buddy! Get that halfling!" Blade shouts to his half-orc ally, pointing to the thrower to the south.
Tonk nods in an abstracted manner and shouts something in giantish.

[sblock=Giant Language Speakers Only]"I want a puppy for my birthday."[/sblock]Realizing the object in his other hand is a dagger. Tonk staggers to the edge of the road, as he hurls it at the halfling.

Wiping the blood from his eyes, Blade looks upon the halfling, his eyes flaring a bright white and he calls out "You shall pay for that coward!".

The deva rushes over to the halfling and swings his axe in a sweeping arc, leaving in its wake swirling radiant energy that keeps foes at bay.

Dextyr

"VICTORY IS OURS!" shouts Dextyr, and with that a magical wave of healing washes over Blade.

He then points his wand at the remaining bandit and grins. "Tried to run, and now you're dead. Tristans blade will cut off your head" chants Dextyr, and as the words reach the bandit his ears begin to gush forth blood as the psychic assault hits true.

Tristan

Tristan swings his blade at the bandit in front of him and what would have only been a glancing blow was much deadlier as the bandits fleeing momentum carried him further onto Tristans blade.

IF BANDIT 2 DROPS

Tristan scurries around the bushes towards the rock slinging halfling and bears down on him. "You are the next to fall little one" Tristan announces in a menacing tone.

Sorry to not update today - I'm incredibly tired and, unlike my other two threads, there's a lot for me to look at in this one. I'll get to it tomorrow.

In the meantime, what do you all think of the way Mal Malenkirk does combat in Zombies and Crooks? (Summary: your Init score decides who goes before the enemies on the first round, but after that everyone acts in the order they post, as long as they only get one action per round. All enemies go at the same time. I post all the HP and defense details of enemies, so that you can tell when you post whether you've hit/killed them or not. That way, in theory, everybody can just post post post without waiting for me to say what happened each time - I only need to step in to make corrections if somebody does the math wrong, and to post the enemies' actions on their turn.)

I'm thinking of switching to this starting next fight. What does everyone think?

[sblock=Init]
Yes 1000% agree, I have switched over to it in my games as well. It works splendidly. I only need to update 1/day, rather than like 2-3/day.
[/sblock]

[sblock=JNC:] I'm OK with it. The pseudo-random element of post order among the players should keep us on our toes, and the singularity of DM posts should make it easier on you.[/sblock]
