D&D General Can I use your character for an NPC in my new market?

Falus (Faa-loose) the White. A 19-year old human shadow sorcerer with alabaster skin and a haunted look in his eye. He and his friends hunted down an undead shadow haunting a local church's catacomb, and though it was defeated he was sapped of his strength and thought dead - and buried. He escaped his internment bereft of many of his former memories and now travels abroad to right wrongs wherever he finds him. He often whispers to his illusionary raven, Nicodemus, which is in truth what remains of the shade he defeated.

Not enough information provided to assist you. I need to know the referent historical time frame (300's, 1200's, 1600's, 1800's ect.) you base your costuming and culture on, overall level of wealth, overall availability of magic, real world cultural influences or what is in the melting pot at least) like it's a mix of Medieval German and East African Animistic culture or based loosely on 16th century Korea, or whatever). Some idea of the demographics of the city and general geography and climate would also help. With no way of knowing what is normal I can't riff off anything.
That's totally fair. I was trying to keep it super open-ended, but you're right, some context helps.

I'm imagining a Shifting Sands Market – basically a big, ever changing melting pot in a temperate, coastal city. Think medieval fantasy, but with enough flexibility for all kinds of races and cultures to mingle. Magic is common but not overwhelming, and wealth levels vary widely

I DM mostly, so for minor NPCs like this, I just use some real-life folks I know of with a quirk and poof, fantas-size them:

Genevieve [of town]: Does a 7 mile morning jog around the market every day and wishes the wineseller would stop frequenting the market because they tempt men of poor judgment to drink to excess. For those that know her, worries about her daughter who, at the youngest age possible, joined the King's Patrol (and secretly is training to be an agent).

Andromedus: likeable old man with a round belly who always seems to have a tankard in hand (don't let Genevieve see him). Always has a wisdom about the weather, but gets riled up if you get him started about the corruption of youth these days because of the teachings of [insert local charitable organization]. While his rants appear to simply be rambling, he actually is right for all the wrong reasons. The local organization is [insert action like secretly siphoning away a handful of orphans each year to slavery, or taking their tongues as part of a nasty ritual and blaming it on a fabricated serial killer that doesn't actually exist].

Terran Sixtoe, a male halfling with brown curly hair, green eyes, and mischievous grin. Terran is a well known merchant that specializes in sponges and loofahs. He is particularly knowledgeable about proper foot care.

Not many know that he’s also an accomplished adventurer that has the ability to read peoples minds (he’s a rogue/psionic).

Johl Walker (Half Elf Rogue Thief/Sorcerer)

Is a card mechanic. Has a hand for trouble and a eye for cash. Luckiest man in the city. He had a gold chain and a black mustache. He loves his whiskey and he loves his women. Has a sleek black carriage with team of horses. Owns a big fine fancy townhouse in the noble district and a large suite at an inn by the docks. Carries a magic dagger on his left hip and a wand of fireball under his coat. Will cut anyone down with no remorse, and if he catches you cheating that was all she wrote.

( Chararachter blatantly stolen from the song Trudy by the Charlie Daniel's Band )

I don't know what that means. :(

Ok, so is this "The City"? The big cosmopolitan heart of the campaign - Greyhawk, Waterdeep, Ankh-Morpork. Not just a city but the defining city that every other city is compared against?

Val, 1/2 Drow female monk. Very Diplomatic. Quirk - if something/someone considers her food, she will return the favor. (was a 1-20 adventure path Pathfinder character. Party needed a face character so I spent points on Diplomacy. The Quirk developed in play as we several times encountered things that were in the process of eating or cooking humanoid NPCs and after one such fight, we were short of food so...)

Yes essentially, they'll likely be coming here alot which is why I want to introduce alot of characters for them to meet

Querulous Smythe, human merchant and alchemist. Late 30's, short and solid in build. His pride and joy is his mound of blonde curly hair and immaculately trimmed beard. Personality is jovial and engaging, but can came across as overly commiserative.

A purveyor of health and wellness potions, but also maintains an illicit stash of mind-affecting tinctures.

Kid (She/they)
Kid is a disarmingly pretty, androgynous, human artificer (homebrew subclass but otherwise she’d be an Artillerist with punching) with a silvered magical prosthetic left arm. They’ve got curly blond hair (think blonde Merida). Kid’s quick, charming in a rough way, and extremely smart. (Lower magic version would maybe have a less impressive prosthetic, and be more of an “artisan” than an artificer)

Hank (he/him)

Hank is a middle-aged Goliath Paladin (retired) who was a guard but got fired for illegally helping street kids. Now he runs a small school for kids who can’t get I into better schools. He serves hand pies to fund the school, in the market.
