Can someone explain the ridiculous Alias finale?

Really? Alias has ended every season as a cliffhanger. No sense stopping that now.
Alias cliffhanger endings are always x10 better that what they turn into.

"You spent the last two years of your life as a cold-blooded killer" turned into "you pretended to be a cold-blooded killer"

"Your father has been manipulating your entire life" turned into "your father killed your mother" which turned into the mega lame "your father only thought he killed your mother."

No wonder the ratings have dropped off.

That disappointed me as well because all summer I was oping that it was heavy Rambaldi culturing like Sloane did with Nadia or a project Christmas thing.

I wasn't surprised at all that there was a cliffhanger as that is a staple of the show. I was surprised at the abruptness of it. Easily the quickest of the season finales so far.

I actually miss the episode-to-episode cliffhangers. In the first season, they usually finished one episode with a cliffhanger that then got resolved in the first five minutes or so of the next episode. They don't do that anymore :(

Me too. They had some this season but they have fallen off and the quality of them has lessened as well. Season 3 had a bunch. I'm trying to look at S4 as a transitional season. Hopefully, the writers will have more for us next season to actually care about.
