Why do you think this is even possible?Camarath said:Yes, two immediate extra attacks with the same weapon at the same time.
It would seem to require the weapon to be in two different places at the same time.
Is an attack one swing with a weapon or is it an amalgamate of seaperate swings, strikes, blocks and parries over a set period of time. If it is the former then the weapon would have to be in two places at the same time which would not normally be possible. If it is the later then the character just has to divide his attentions between two different targets during the same period of time during which both attacks can occur.Caliban said:Why do you think this is even possible?

Touch attacks only fall apart if you assume that any glancing contact counts rather than requiring solid contact to trigger the effect.Sejs said:Things like touch attacks fall appart if each attack is going back and forth for a while - touch attacks are easy to make already, but if you were going back and forth with your opponent for a while which was summed up in an attack roll, then it would be virtually guarenteed that at some point during that you make at least brief contact with your target.
Well, abstraction has to breakdown at some point anyway. I think we are pretty close to that point here.Sejs said:This is true. To my knowledge, it's not specified either way.
Basically, the extra attacks the Cleave feats give you represent the follow-through on your first attack, as more guys get caught in the swing-arc of your weapon. If it's a piercing weapon like a spear or a rapier, it means that not only did you skewer one guy, but you also got several more guys who were directly behind him.Caliban said:Why do you think this is even possible?
