OOC: WHOOPS! I just did exactly what Corragan did and gave some of my creatures a full round of actions...

For KW7 and KS 3, ignore their map possitions. KW7 should be one square to the right (I22), and KS is still next to Ignatz at F23

Sha'kar, feel free to take your surprise round actions.

IGNATZ: Feel free to take an attack of opportunity against Soldier 3, as his attack will have had to occur while next to you.

Sha'kar sees Corrigan getting pounded on by the creatures and lays a hand on his ally's armor, enchanting it to make it stronger. The bolt of electricity that normally is released to attack the nearest enemy fizzles and fails to do anything.

OOC: As far as I can tell by reading the Rules Compendium, you still get a turn while surprised you just can't take any actions. Really, it just means that you get Start and End of turn effects as normal.

The fight becomes a blur, and Ignatz leaves coherent thought behind him in the wake of his destructive rampage. Adrenaline and primal vigor flood him, and he fills the cavern with a roar. His two blows against his prey are interrupted by it's poisonous sting, but Ignatz barely notices. He buries his gouge in the insect with an overhead swing, then lifts the broken corpse with one hand and throws it at another nearby kruthik, crushing it to death.

OOC: He already explained that he like to count damage taken rather than hit points remaining.
 


From inaction to action The Cursed One's first movement is blindingly fast despite the venom attacking his body with cramps. In a flash he moves behind the kruthik to flank with Shak'ar, massive blade flashing, curse hurling, an unnatural darkness seems to surround the creature: "The Sun take your eyes Dirt Shovler!"

The carnage wrought is absolutely devastating! The kruthik is completely split in two from the devastating blow, it blood splashing out over every single creature in the cave. Strangely though the blood that touches the kruthiks seems to glow just for a moment.

"Come and stare into the Sun, diggers!" he howls spinning on his heels to lash out at one of the heavily armoured Kruthiks tossing around poisoned spikes. His eyes failing to adjust tothe gloom misdirect the attack and it scrapes harmlessly off the thick plates that protect the creature's back.

OOC: I think Corragan should still be in I20, not J19 (I was going to shift to J19, but couldn't because of the suprise round). Have I missed something?

If I'm right, I think Corragan should have taken 2 less damage as he was adjacent to only one living Kruthik at the end of his suprise round turn.

Also worker 8 is listed as undamaged; it should have taken 10 damage from Corragan's Grasping Tide, so will be dead after TCO's huge damage


Corragan reels back from the attack, shifting forms as he does into the now familiar form of a monitor lizard. As he does so, he lashes out at the nearest Kruthik before stepping back to strike at another of the creatures.

OOC: Sorry about the very slow post rates guys! I'll try to pick this up in the future. As for right now, I'm at home and sick in bed, so I don't have access to my maps (I really need to install this stuff at home so I can transfer it over the weekend!). I should be back at work tomorrow and I'll do my best to give you guys an update and a new map (since AoE hell + Ignatz + TCO has meant the deaths of lots of creatures... Yaknow... speaking of which... if this continues on like this, I'm going to have to raise the encounter levels here... pffft... and I worried that there were only five of you...HAH!)

Just need Sha'kar and Dina before the few remaining Kruthik get their turns.
