CG vs. LE: Chaotic Good is Victorious!

PJSlavner:[sblock]I forgot another application of the Words of Creation. You can cast a good spell at +1 caster level. The cost is d4 nonlethal damage per 2 levels of spell.[/sblock]

Round 420

Tule dodges the acid (Ref save 28+2+1=31) and takes 34-10=24 points of acid damage. Tule has 165 HP remaining, and has taken 6 points of nonlethal damage.

Tule is still singing, although his tune changed a little just before he attacked last round.

Ugulu[sblock]Nigel can use breath weapon next round.[/sblock]

Tule steps to 80N40E and hits two out of five times (worst hitting roll 36+6+3+1-12=34; best missing roll 24+6+3+1-12=22) for a total of 20+42-10=52 slashing plus 9 holy damage. Nigel has 45 HP remaining.

OOC: Now I wonder what you thought the brilliant energy quality is.

Tule hits five times (worst roll 27+6+3+1-4=33) for a total of 72+65-25=112 slashing plus 34 holy damage. Nigel is cut into his component segments.

First in round 422 for Lawful Evil is a horned devil (Monster Manual). CR 16 to the rescue!

Ugulu[sblock]Please note that the devil cannot see Tule, although it does know that something was near enough Nigel to cut him to ribbons. The devil might be able to pinpoint Tule's location once in the arena because Tule is still singing.[/sblock]

with a brilliant energy sword ? (reads text) ohhh.
I'm betting you thought it was like a touch attack and ignored natural armor? Surprisingly, a lot of people make that mistake, so brilliant energy is not really good against dragons.
