I2K Q:[sblock]Figure asking the mods would be pushing it...but if you have any insights on how to make this supposedly deadly devil useful I'm all fiendish ears. My current scheme is to use Wish to cast Iron Body, making him immune to the confusion gas and given him another +3 on attack (though -3 AC) and keep trying to bamf-in, get a full attack, pray for the poison to take (only need 20 bites for a sure success I'm thinking...) and bamf-out to get back 20hp before the next attempt - saving the meteor swarm for last ditch effort.[/sblock]
 


ugulu: [sblock] Well, straight up fighting is out of the question because of the DR 20/Magic . . . unless you burned the wish on greater magic fang (might as well add extended to that or some other metamagic feat though I'm not sure what would help). Other alternatives to GMF for the wish are:
extended (+1) Hide from Dragons (Wiz7) - if you want what amounts to a surefire draw)
extended (+1) maximized (+3) Fell the Greatest Foe (Pal3) - +18 damage on every attack? Cool, but it doesn't even overcome the DR
Extended (+1) Transformation (Wiz6)-another cool one but still no way to overcome DR/Magic


But, first things first is that you need to summon help. As you may have noticed in the Evil vs. Good arena, demons/devils are much better with help. So:
1. Bring in a cornugon. The cornugon should then cast dispel chaos.
2. Bring in a cornugon. The 2nd one should cast dispel chaos while the first battles 20cc.
3. Both cornugons are now engaged, so use meteor swarm.
4. Use wish->GMF and join the fight.[/sblock]
 


Evil remains...um, elusive.[sblock]I'll probably regret the lack of invisibility...but let's try to call in Klinton the Horned Devil to 90n55e.[/sblock]

ugulu: [sblock] If you're not reading the Good vs. Evil thread, keep in mind that it's likely to be ruled that summoned help cannot teleport. So, placement of the cornugons is critical to be on the floor.

Btw, look at the other devils it can summon for other ideas. Although bone devils aren't nearly as strong, having one generate a wall of ice to keep 20cc hemmed in would be pretty cool. [/sblock]
 

PJS[sblock]Ja, 40z (but I double-checked the fly speed before responding!). Klinton will cast Dispel Good and move to 90n40e40z.[/sblock]
