CG vs. LE: Chaotic Good is Victorious!

Ugulu[sblock]I made an error, and had turned off the computer and went to bed before I realized it. The order is Klinton, Jagger, JD, so Jagger does attack 20cc.

I still do not know Klinton's position. Did he step forward to 85N30E?[/sblock]

Klinton misses three times with his chain (best roll 32-2=30).

Jagger walks to 65N50E and misses 20cc with his chain (rolled 40-2=38).

Judge dread appears at 80N50E as he takes a full attack, successfully clawing twice (best missing roll 43+1=44; worst hitting roll 45+1=46) for 41+2=43 points of damage. 20cc has 319 HP remaining.

Round 610

20cc hits with everything but one wing (missing roll 42-4=38; worst hitting roll 44-4=40) for 78-50=28 points of damage. Klinton has 15 HP remaining after healing.

This brings up a question. If a summoned creature gets knocked unconscious by taking more nonlethal damage than it has hit points, does it disappear? In the PHB in the conjuration(summoning) section, it states that a summoned creature disappears if brought to 0 or lower, but it does not mention nonlethal damage.

Klinton steps to 85N35E and takes a real full attack, missing all five times (best roll 41-2=39).

Jagger takes a full attack on Judge Dread, missing all five times (best roll 40-2+2=40).

Judge Dread misses with all six attacks (best roll 39+1=40).

I'm not sure a regenerating creature should get an advantage over a wild boar in this situation. I don't think anyone was thinking of the actual nonlethal damage mechanic when they introduced this rule. If nonlethal damage exceeds current hp, you have zero hp left with respect to this rule.

I was thinking that a regenerating creature should get an advantage, but the BoAA rule supercedes it. I was merely commenting from a rules perspective. By the BoAA rule, as soon as the nonlethal damage exceeds the hp, the opponent is defeated, end of story, regenerating or not. To that end, I suppose a regenerating creature is at a minor disadvantage. ;)

20cc will defensively attack Klinton again - at some point he has to go down.
Klinton is CR16, you know. He's no wimp. Just because 20cc has AC133, 5034 hit points, and SR89 doesn't mean everyone else is a wimp. :p

another defensive full attack, transferring remaining attacks to Jagger when Klinton falls -
I'm sure glad he will vanish when he hits 0. otherwise it might be worth trying to drown him.

Round 611

20cc hits with everything but one claw (worst hitting roll 44-4=40; natural 1 miss). 20cc inflicts 15 points of damage to Klinton with his bite, so Klinton disappears. 20cc cannot reach Jagger with his claws. The wings and tail deal 43-30=13 points of damage to Jagger.

Jagger heals up to 146 HP, then takes a full attack with his chain on 20cc. He misses all three times (best roll 30-2=28).

Go ahead, Judge Dread.
