Then U mutters some kind of incantation and moves towards Boney.

Round 229: As Boney leaves, U bites his tail (natural 20) with an AoO. Boney takes 19-1 damage from the fatigued U and has 12 hp left.

U breathes in the noxious fumes, but partially resists them (27 Fort save). He takes 1 Con damage and has 20 Con left.

The bearded devil ignores the proceedings.

U will trott to 105n40e (squeezing if nessary to stay out of the cloud) and bite to finish off Boney, pa =2

Boney takes an AoO with his tail as U approaches and misses (rolled 11).

U bites (rolled 36-7) for 10+2-1 damage. Boney is hanging in there with 1 hp.

Boney goes first in round 230. The cloud travels 10 feet south to 80N60E.

Possible move (opinions wanted, everyone but E.H.):[sblock]On the defensive, use Limited Wish to cast a Heightend to 7th-level Ray of Exhastion. Is that a fair of use of the spell?[/sblock]

[sblock] Definitely not to 7th level. You can only duplicate spells you don't have up to 6th level. Otherwise, it would be far better to use waves of exhaustion (no Fort save). I would probably allow metamagicked spells up to the appropriate level, however. If allowing swapped spells of a particular level is okay (and it is per RAW) and spells of the same level are roughly equal (and it is per RAW), then allowing metamagicked spells is not an unbalanced choice. [sblock] ugulu, waves of exhaustion is 7th level. You can only swap out spells at 6th-level or lower. Some suggestions maybe? Perhaps there is a good spell in the Draconomicon? Or BoXD? Energetic healing, maybe? Control water: flood the arena? eyebite? heightened charm monster?[/sblock]
