CG vs. LE: Chaotic Good is Victorious!

Dice went cold on the spell choices, but I think it would have been pretty one-sided in any case.
Whirlwind - sweet! But vs. a Huge creature...scratch.
SNA, Creeping Doom, Insect Plague - cool...but all 1 round casting times.
Ice Storm - no save...but does SR does apply. I guess I could try the poison - getting through the AC + saves to do (I think) 1.5 STR damage would do the trick.
Mass (x) CLW - instead of something like Cure Serious for herself - ugh. Makes good sense in terms of the hive though.

I think she's just a bad match (though vs. a dragon, that's a long list). Best chance was to get the Insect Plague off and do some damage so the next contender has a few less HP to deal with. Hoping I can get a damage dealing spell through before her hit-points run out.

OOC: Well, it may have been better to buff up a little. Cast tree stride first, then while in a tree summon some stuff and cast cat's grace and bear's endurance (possibly on the summoned stuff). Tree stride doesn't seem to restrict your choice of actions, but at the least you could get off some buff spells (if not summoning spells).

OH! Genius! I did not even read Tree Stride - I wrote it off as a poor-bee's dimension door, but the ability to stay inside certainly makes a difference. Now then...can I survive long enough to bark up a bark'd residence.

Great idea, Infiniti, and one I should have come up with because my elf cleric in Gansk's game used tree stride recently to sneak up on a scout. I completely forgot about the trees in the arena.

The text of sunbeam implies to me that no actual beam can be fired until next round as a standard action.

Round 295: Crumbull attempts to grapple and Victimia misses the AoO with her sickle (natural 1). Crumbull succeeds (41 vs. 38 Grp check) and moves into Victimia's square at 5N60E. Victimia takes 7 points of damage and has 53 hp left.
