Round 314: Jessica heals to 101 hp and chops at the strand (33+1 vs. 25 Sunder).

Jessica inflicts 28+2 damage and cuts the strand, flying to 95N20E30Z.

Sketchy charges to 60N70E and claws Prymatt (rolled 27+2) for 24. Prymatt has 66 hp.

Prymatt concentrates defensively and mentally attacks Sketchy, but it has no effect (17 CL check).

Round 315: Jessica heals to 111 hp and starts to cast a spell.

Sketchy hits with a claw and a bite and inflicts 25 total. Prymatt has 41 hp.

Does this mean the bird has spell resistance? If yes Prymatt's move will be to run to the wall and tap out.

Ya, but this one thing is enough - too big to grab or suck out it's brain, CL + Save for the Stun - and even if all that succeeded, it's still only vs. the summoned creature. Meanwhile the man in charge has time to build up an army of summoned goons - better to get out now while it's likely to be 3 on 1 vs. 6 on 1 (which it may get to anyway).

It really was the perfect creature vs. this neo-roper.

Appearing at 95n60e is a creature that looks like a bipedal insect with clawed hands/feet, huge mandibles, and a tail with razor-like spikes. Vanilla Ice (large) concentrates and is surrounded by a 20'r shimmer of malevolent darkness.[sblock]Unholy Aura, 13r duration.[/sblock]
 

Vanilla Ice is surrounded by the malevolent darkness, but it is not a twenty foot radius. The twenty foot radius is the range that targets can be in to be surrounded by the darkness.
