Changing Cleric Domain Powers

Sorry to anyone that replied, or that just didn't want this brought back to the boards :)

So basically, I don't really like the way Clerical Domain abilities worked, so I'm thinking about making them more like Divine Feats - spend a turning attempt (or more) to have a special effect. The example I gave is below:

Divine Smite
Domains: Good, Evil, Law, Chaos
Effect: The character may use one turning attempt to make a Divine Smite - an attack similar to the Paladin's Smite Evil. The target of the smite is dependant on the domain - Smite Evil for the Good domain, Smite Good for the Evil domain, Smite Chaos for the Law domain, and Smite Law for the Chaos domain.

Someone made a comment about Paladins receiving too many smite attempts, and I'm sorry because I forgot your name. Since these are replacing the Clerical domains, Paladins would not normally have access to them.

I was also possibly thinking of just having a list of domain abilities, each one with certain domains that can choose them. This way there's not as much smiliarity between people with the same domain ability.

Anyway, all comments are welcome, especially if you see imbalances.
