Anyone else have any thoughts on any other cohorts?

I know you were soliciting suggestions from other quarters, but I had a thought I wanted to share. What about a fallen Nun (sister) who had an affair with the head of a lawful good church? She's seeking redemption - he's still in charge of the church. The moral quandries and difficulties that might ensue excite my DM tastebuds!

edit: Naturally, the church requires a vow of chastity from its sisters for this to make sense.

Would she be an adept, or a full cleric? Flavor wise this would work with your paladin idea as well. Other ideas could be a sage recording the life of the reformed pit fiend, a plane hoping wizard who plans an excursion to the lower planes.

BTW- I noticed I forgot Klithgor's gaze attack, so I've added that to his entry. :o

Holy Cow! Don't you dare let the rest of you-know-what-group see these stats!

Rebrey is reborn with a vengeance and a 67 point build!

Rebrey's player likes to roll for stats, and since this race has mostly positive modifiers I told him I'd only let him roll 3d6 and he'd be stuck with the result. His INT and WIS carried over from his human build, and CHA was an average of what he started with and what he rolled after modifiers. His stats actually had a net loss from what he originally had. He was just rolling good.

But as you can tell from the story, good/great stats don't equal long life. Only Tharhack and Rebrey remain out of the original four.

I also forgot Rebrey's darkvision, so I've added that on for him.

Klithgor's transfer foci ability:

(Ex): Klithgor can take the soul of a deceased being and use it as fuel for an explosion of abyssal origins. Using the hit dice of the being Klithgor can charge the full amount or a potion of that amount and place it within the dead body or portion of.

Example: a 5HD creature is killed by Klithgor, he could rip it's leg off and "pour" a 1d6 infernal delayed blast fireball into it, or any d6 up to 5d6 into it. The delay can be for any duration up to Klithgor's HD.

The effect can also be placed within an animated unintelligent undead (zombie or similar) and then set the zombie loose with a "bomb" set to go off at Klithgor's predetermined time.

Since the explosion is abyssal in origin half of the blast is normal fire the other is abyssal and therefore not subject to "immunity to fire" or the fire subtype unless the creature is an outsider from the abyss then the abyssal damge becomes regular fire damage.

It does not matter how long the body has been dead, as long as there is enough flesh (DM discretion) left. Klithgor "calls" the soul back (but does not raise or ressurect the creature) and uses the soul as the fuel for the ability. Creatures who have their souls used in this manner can never be raised or ressurected.
