I'd add Rocky Horror Picture Show, but I've never seen it outside of a live performance . . .

If Conan the Destroyer had been called The Dungeons and Dragons movie it would have been almost perfect. A disparate group gets together to do some quest with a real dungeon, real intraparty conflict and a double dealing double-twist ending.

Conan, the Barb/fighter/rogue, the NPC princess, the Fighter, the Barbarian, the Rogue, the Wizard. It may be cheesy but it was excellent cheese!

Oh, and we could laugh at the mundanes asking where the dragon was....

But that's my point... lol... the movie itself ain't worth two bits. But throw that puppy on the big screen with an audience full of loyal fans, and you have a phenomenon! I've tried watching it on tv with friends, and while we all knew the lines and songs, it sucks cleaning up slices of bread from around your tv.
