Buzz I am looking at doing a D20 Modern 70's Action Show RPG called "Magnum Action", so slot me in the morning for that, will ya?

As for the afternoon slot, let's do something different and do me up for a EDEN STUDIOS RPG set in the world of ANGEL and BUFFY.

I will have a slot description for you in a few days in all likelyhood.
Two events! Woo! You might have your first player for that Angel/Buffy game.

Added. :)

A poll like this should also include something about "I am unconcerned with events related to the RPGA" so that you can get some idea of the relatively low member to player ratio.
To save the poll from being too unwieldly, I decided to focus on positive statements and simply ask people to check the ones they agreed with. If you don't want something, don't check that option.

Looks like we have a few poll respondents who aren't happy with the event submission process or the player sign-up process.

For those who voted this way, what don't you like, and how do you think these things could be improved?

buzz, I will volunteer to run a back up event again. (If for some reason, a DM has to cancel, I will step up to the plate.) Same event as last time, RAID, an D&D event with pre-generated 7th level characters.

Overall, I was pretty happy last time. We should avoid situations such as the one Reidzilla faced. Also, I think we need to let people on other boards know about this. A few RPGA events might help attract some new people as well.

Fantastic, William. Thanks!

FWIW, I plan to have a banner ad ready as soon as we start the sign-up thread, unlike the last-minute advertising I did last time.

If we can have the event on October 16th, maybe we can work with the WotC people who are working with thalmin. Or, if we have to move the date, maybe a poster at Games Plus might be a good idea. (For art, thalmin could use the graveyard diorama and some miniatures. The Gameday will be near Halloween, after all.)

It all sounds good to me. I'm a little surprized that the poll already has had 50 people who have voted when the gamedays get only roughly that number of sign ups. Do you think, perhaps, some folks are voting who don't have anything to do with the Chicago Gamedays? I'd be wary of the results...

The poll numbers DO seem high, and I always believe in taking non-scientific polls with a grain of salt. Maybe we can ask those who voted to explain their choices. For example, I think more D&D games and some RPGA games are good ideas. I was pleased with the registration process.

So, please post your opinions. I think some more feedback will help in making a better Gameday for everyone.

I'm keeping this in mind, yes. Hopefully, though, the large response is due to the mailing list being notified about the thread. There are close to 90-100 subscribers.

The results aren't too out of line with a previous one I think I posted a while back. I.e., "more D&D!" :D

I want to do the painting seminar again in one of the lunch spots. I will write up a description later and I will take up to 6 people although even 4 is too many for me to teach at once :p
