Well, I suppose I can give this another shot. So if there's still a morning spot open ...

"No Child Left Behind"
Star Wars Saga Edition

This whole Empire thing is not going very well for, shall we say, legitimate businessmen. Four months since the Jedi attack on the Supreme Chancellor, so the story goes, Captain Toby Chamberlain and his crew have found clients scarce and profits dwindling for their “shipping” business.

However, they have been approached with an interesting proposition. An underground group sympathetic to the old Republic is willing to talk about a contract for the safe shipment of some live cargo. Apparently, this group has located a 13-year-old Padawan being held captive in the Outer Rim. Delivery of this cargo would yield a seven-figure payment. It’s dangerous, it’s difficult, but it’s a lot of credits.

Characters will be provided; role-playing will be emphasized.

Oh, and while Trevalon will use his creativity for his students, I’ll just make mine … ummmm … read a book or something.

There is, and it's yours!

We're pretty much good to go now. I've left each slot open for a seventh event, should anyone else come forward by the end of the week. Let's everyone get their event descriptions posted, and then we can get to signing up some playahs... er, players.

Solid lineup of games...especially that Ghostbusters game in the afternoon. That one sounds awesome!

So...anybody feel like making a poster for this one?

Hm. I am considering changing my game to 1,001 Nights instead... it's less dependent on number of players, and has a built in setting and situation. And since nobody has expressed preference for one or the other of the Best Friends scenarios, I won't be disappointing anyone.

Keep in mind most of the people following this thread are other GMs, so may not be expressing any preferences (since they'll be running, not playing). You run whatever the heck you want to run! :D

I'm a GM, and I'm playing. So are you. I'm guessing there might be one or two others =P

But yeah, point taken. 1,001 Nights it is.

I might be the only GM not actually playing at some point, aside from the playing that comes from GMing, of course. :)

I can work on something, but anyone is welcome.

I always liked your posters. They are clean and straightforward and attractive and informative. All the best qualties for posters are covered.
