Immediate-family Christmas festivities are over, folks are now showering/getting gussied up for the extended family get-together later this afternoon...and I had to log on anyway, since, if you can believe it, there were RPGNow/RPGMall/RPGShop Customer Service emails to attend to.

Just taking a little break from the family festivities. We're visting my wife's family in Irving, Texas. It's been nice.

Merry Christmas to everyone, especially those of you who couldn't make it to family or friends.

Devoted Odinist, so we don't celebrate the birth of the One God. I am just glad this is over and we can go on to celebrate the fake new year and I can go back to normal life...

Well it's 20:58 at the moment and the familie conversations are running rampant. Lots of remembering everyone when they were young (soooo cute). Thus I fled to the PC here and try to prevent everyone from remembering embaressing stuff about me ;)

Yeah. Apparently some folks think that using the computer is an anti-social thing, so what do they do? They come to a community message board and ask "Why are you here?!?!" ;)

My mother is ill. Dad is sitting on the couch with her. So, I'm on the laptop, checking to see how my friends around the world are doing.

Somehow, I just knew one of these silly threads would pop up. They do every year...

Just got back from spending the night at my mom's house, and still have a couple hours to kill until my gf gets home and we go to her parents for Christmas dinner. So I pop onto ENWorld while going over my gifts and deciding which I can return.

I am an addict and have been unable to visit much as of late. The 70+ hour weeks at work and numerous personal issues finally caught with me and found myself hospitalized with a nasty upper respirtory infection (being checked for Whooping Cough even ...ouch!).
So, Where I was susposed to work much of today I now am home, drugged up, and unable to do much but bow to my needs and EN World. ;)

oh and read instructions and put in batteries in all the kids toys.

I chose "other" - because I work here! :)

Just checking in & poking around while the Missus freshens up for our return to her parent's house. She was very happy to see the Gimli figure under the tree - it will insopire her dwarven defender to new heights! (I just got her to start gaming this year.)

Didn't get anything gaming-related (unless you count the two copies of the STAR WARS DVD boxed set - one widescreen, one fullscreen that I got), but then I know I'll be swinging by Games Plus in Chicagoland on my way home. That will be my Christmas present. :)

Have a merry one, everybody!

Because the morning (gifts, brunch) is finished, and dinner isn't for a few hours. Not much else -to- do, other than sit here browsing through my shiny new Complete Arcane. :D
