Since no one seems to care about the tea cup that pyrelius believes to be suspicious he tosses it aside and listens to the conversations. He occasionally whispers to his axe. Anyone who listens hears mostly things like " Yes ancestor, no ancestor. That would make a terrible mess ancestor."
Purelius also does his best to fight off his feelings of claustrophobia. The homes of this city are too small for his likes. Even a "mansion" such as this paled in comparison to the fields of his homeland.

Turning to Jeffrey, "Were you the first person to see him after he was killed? Aside from the killer at all? What state was the body in when you found him?
And Dig... is a metal contraption? I understood he is the gardener..."

The liquid in the cup is close if not exatly like that of the liquid found in the barons wound.
"Sir please put the masters cup down," Jeffery says to Purelius noticing his nervousness, "Why don't you walk outside and get Dig so we can question him? It should be tending the roses out back."
"Poison what posion???!?!" He seems shocked and appalled at the thought.
"No... no sir, I was not first as I stated before. M' lady was first here I was third with the maid being the only one who beat me here to see what was going on. No one touched anything, they were too shocked. He was sprawled in his chair neck sliced open bruises all over his body, but I assume you knew that much."
About Dig:
"Dig is, what do they call themsleves now, a WAR-FOR-GED. Yeah that is it he is a warforged left over from the great war. M' lady employs him because he does good work, but I don't like em."
