"Those who wish to be treated as though they have great vhal should act with great vhal...To call people 'masters' as you have...well, it gives me unpleasant memories of that Covington and the slaves brought there. What a horrible place!"
"I'm sorry m'lady, I meant people. Tis a habit from earlier days." Rapture says, perhaps a bit downtrodden.

After exchanging a few sentences with Joe and giving him a few coins, Samina leaves the bar with a glass of cold milk in search of a place to sit down after a long trip, turning her head as if looking around as not to disturb patrons by moving without sight.
OOC: Isn't this place free for adventurers? And aren't you required to introduce yourself to everyone when you come in?

(OOC: Maybe she would rather pay than give her name. I believe that is an option for non-adventurers or those who don't want to give their name. Of course, lying is also an option for those sorts)

"Well, you've certainly been the most entertaining trial I've run across so far if that's the case," Rapture says with a smile.
Keldar performs an over-elaborate bow, complete with hand on heart and a flourish of his other arm. "I could wish for nothing more," he says.

Keldar gives Rapture a quick look, and makes a motion with his hand as though he were about to touch her arm, quickly stilled as he thinks better of it. "I..." He sighs. "Shall we join the Lady Samina and introduce ourselves?" he asks.

"Of course. Only tell me how much you need? Regretfully, Lord Westmoreland was far less generous than Lord Pician, and so I have only little more than 100 of your platinum to spare, but it is yours if you need it."

(OOC: You can get 50% sellback value for your old weapon, or more if you sell to diSenzio's shop--I'm sure they can afford a nonmagical nonMW bastard sword. And the name's Lasair, as you did get in 595, but you've been saying Rystil for a while ;))
OOC: Thank You ! I see the linkage is up already from our enterprising friend!

After exchanging a few sentences with Joe, the barkeeper knocks on the wood a few times before bellowing in a very loud voice, "We have in our presence the Lady Samina Winters, who doesn't like disturbing strangers!"

Samina gives him a brief smile before sharing a wider one with the rest of Inn. She leaves the bar with a glass of cold milk in search of a place to sit down after a long trip, turning her head as if looking around as not to disturb patrons by moving without sight.

Stepping up to Samina, though allowing a good pace of room, Richard clears his throat gently. Once he has the Lady's attention he speaks quietly to her, smiling, "Pleased to meet you Lady Samina, I am Richard apRawen. I understand that you do not want to disturb a stranger, but given that we are introduced, we are no longer strangers, right?" The young man's smile brightens with his attempted witticism and he offers his arm, "My arm is at your side, if you would allow me to help you to a table? The inn is deceptively full, due to the many rather quiet patrons."Richard will patiently await the young woman's reply.

(OOC: No problem ;) Lasair isn't going to ask him to pay it back either, as she figures that he will pay it back if his vhal demands it. OOC though, they generally make things like that easy--I've seen free couriers sent back to the RDI (and sometimes into a separate adventure) to deliver things like that during adventures even if they are in different ones next time)

The girl smiled brightly at Richard and replied with a high voice, "That's true, so please, call me Sammy," she gave a light giggle. "Mister Smith over there was deceptive, though, I'm not actual nobility, even though my parents sometimes call me Princess."

Smiling at the man's offer, Sammy smiled and hooked her arm around his. "Thank you, it does seem to be a bit crowded in here. Would you happen to see if there are any free seats somewhere?"

Rapture sees the attempt and smiles meekly. Then, she hears his suggestion, "Oh, of course Keldar."

She gracefully rises, takes the last sip of her wine before setting the glass down, and waits for Keldar.

OOC: Also, my apologies on the name mix-up, I even caught it once then went back and "fixed" it. *sigh* Mayhap RL is too busy for game-time? BAH!

Richard's face brightens with the young woman's words. Guiding her to an open table out of the way, he quietly speaks with her on the way.[sblock=Sammy Listen DC15 nearby]"You are about 20 paces from the front door, and about 10 from the back wall, where several of our quieter guests have been congregating. The crowd is mainly young adventurers and with the exception of Keldar's questionable mocking of the paladin Galwynn, everyone seems to be getting on well enough." With Sammy seated comfortably the bulky young man will pause awkwardly for a moment before glancing to Rowan and Lasair with a look that would be comically fearful if it weren't for the honesty of that fear. One thing about Richard is evident to anyone that can see his face (and most likely Sammy as well), he is rather impulsive and naive, brash and yet terribly earnest... it makes for a strangely juvenile combination in a man who has seen and done terrible things. Looking at the Lady's robes, he finally seems to catch his breath and speaks rapidly, though quietly. "So, what order do you belong to m'Lady?"[/sblock]Richard escorts the young woman to an out of the way table and, with a strangely scared look on his face, glances at his friends at the bar before turning back to the young priestess.
