Yup. Sounds like an expansion that even those of us you rarely go to war could use. I'm really, really liking the additional religious/cultural options in Civ 4. But I used to run a economics-heavy game in previous versions (sustainable spending of 500+ gold per turn to build stuff). Being able to do both of those well/better would be great.
Simplicity said:Oh, you should see what you can do with Carthage's Cothon unique building (replaces Harbor and grants an extra trade route in that city) or England's Stock Market (replaces Bank and grants an extra +15% wealth). The civs themselves are much more specialized with the addition of unique buildings.
China for example just eats up land with Pavilions that grant them +25% culture in their cities.
