I usually end up playing the cleric or paladin, because no one else will think about the healing. Sometimes I play a wizard, because no one wants to be a spell caster at first level in editions prior to the Fourth.

Rogue, Druid, Monk, and Ranger. And other non-caster. Mostly Warblades and Swordsages for those. I forgot to peg barbarian, but I do tend to play classes with a mix of that often, as well.

Basically, my most common characters are acrobatic combat gods that are inspired by anme/videogame/wuxia stuff that drives grognards crazy. And druid. Cause I also like shapechangers, the "revenge of nature" motif, and the utterly staggering amount of kinky sexual potential of a class that gets oodles of bondage spells, friends to animals and plants, and ability to change form nearly at will (literally at will w/ a thousand faces). Every druid I've ever made has been sexually deviant. It's fun, though not something I can drop on a new group I've just met. :(

Warrior types I go Monks or Paladins. I love Arcane spellcasters so Wizard and Sorcerer are common. And when I feel like spells spells spells - I go Wiz/Cleric.

Sorcerer/Monk for the Hadoken Fireball, or the Paladin/Cleric ultimate holy dude are common as well.

Voted for Cleric, wizard, thief/rogue, and 'other arcane spellcasters' (including Swordmages!) as the only things I've done more than once per edition. Though Clerics have only been pre-4e (and retro-clones) and only by default because I am willing to play them and am not willing to play pre-4e D&D (or RPGs clearly based on pre-4e D&D) without one; I'm not a huge fan of clerics (the 4e Invoker is really more of the divine character I like).

Paladin is easily my favorite class in any RPG, be it D&D, a console RPG, or an MMO. My longest running 3E character was a paladin as well. While Paladins are my clear favorite, I have also played a mix of fighters, mages, and swordmage types. While I have always meant to try playing a rogue, I have never got around to it.

Fighter, Illusionist, Ranger, Magic-user, Cleric are the ones I play most; but I've pretty much played 'em all* at some point. I'm not sure why I've never really done Thief much except as a multi-class with other things; I'll have to try one sometime soon.

* - except Monk.

Those are splatbook classes. But a "magic warrior" category might actually have been a good idea.
So? Do I get arrested by the Core Enforcement Squad if less than 50% of my PCs have classes not published in whatever book came out first in any given edition? Because that's what you're implying.

Besides, Swordmages not being in the PHB is one of the greatest injustices ever.
(Joking, I don't give a f***)

I try a little bit of everything, but my favorite class tends to be ranger. Since I skipped 2E, I found the 3E ranger quite disappointing with the introduction of TWF, and was quite happy with the 3.5 revision. The ranger options in 4E were good, particular with the Martial Power revisions, but I'm pining for a good Aragorn-style ranger like in 1E. I like the "skilled warrior" with some wilderness skills.
