(CLOSED) Morningstar Give-away #2 Winner=CTHULHU'S LIBRARIAN

No destiny can not be changed but it is also not extremely specific. Destiny can just mean that one will do great things not necessarily successful things. No it wouldn't do to just sit back and accept it if one's actions could "soften the blow". I think Asimov had it right in his Foundation series. The Galactic Empire would fall and there would be 10,000 years before the galaxy would be united again. That could be changed by having the two Fundations at the "opposite" ends of the galaxy and shortening the "dark" period to only 1,000 years. The destiny is there but events would not happen as bad as they could have been.

Just trying the answer the questions to enter the contest. :) Hope that that does it.

Any type of entry works. But incidentally, I see what you're saying. A lot of the citizens of Thraxis (the world of Morningstar) are working towards that kind of goal.

Yes, you can fight destiny. The end event may be inevitable, but they WAY you get there goes a long way into defining who you are.

It IS afterall, about the journey...

Do not go gently into that good night. Rage against the dying of the light. Destiny may be inevitable, but it doesn't have to be accepted.

CONTEST CLOSED.

You've all fought well, but alas, the winning post number was predestined. The winner of today's Contest is Cthulhu's Librarian. Perhaps he had an edge, having access to all those Mythos tomes...

For those of you who didn't win, there are still three more contests. The next one starts tomorrow, any time before midnight.

Congrats, CL!

Great contest, by the way, RSK...

It's very kind of you to do this.

No problem at all. I think this is a good way to raise awareness for the setting, and give a few people some free stuff.

I'm having a lot of fun. I feel like Santy Claws. :D

Cool! I fire off a post to the contest, run to a meeting, the power goes out, and when I finally get back online I find this! Wow! I was going to buy Morningstar when it hit the stores, so I'm really psyched about winning!

Thanks RS!

Good luck to everyone else inthe next rounds!
