To be real most people who get called "influencers" actually put in 70-150% as much work as you average "email job" worker. Sure, it's not 1960s manual labour or whatever, but relatively little is if you get to a certain portion of the economy. Saying it's "not a real job" when you're not saying the same to actors or musicians because you have a clearer idea of how much time/effort they put in is kinda silly.
Yeah, this. As she says in the video Ginny Di is a bard, a social entertainer who should be accorded the same respect of a screen actor or singer regardless of the medium she has chosen to utilise. Kudos to her for finding a way to monetise her cosplay and geek cred.
Anyway Patreon reports that she earns up to 14k per month from that platform. Not megabucks be respectable and fair compensation for the scripting, editing and production she does put in.
I remember noting in my playtest feedback that it's ridiculous that a full caster got Evasion at lv6, a level earlier than Monks/Rogues whose thing that's supposed to be.14th level now has super evaion (You and an ally within 5ft get evasion)
Where is this coming from? Is this something you've heard Ginny D express personally or are you projecting your own feelings onto her? I've certainly heard some YouTubers talk about the work that goes into making a decent video which might include research, writing a script, filming, editing, and trying to please the almighty algorithim, but I don't know if I've ever heard them speak with disdain about anyone else who has a "real" job. Personally I think it's pretty gutsy for some of these people to make it a full time job.Like I said, congrats to her and those like her who found a way to make a buck streaming and I'm not saying they haven't earned their wealth, I just hate it when they compare it to a (and i know this is frowned upon but I can't think of another term) "real job". This applies to a lot of jobs out there IMO not just internet influencing.
What does this have to do with Ginny D or most other people who make YouTube videos for a living?I recall some rich person saying getting on stage and doing a 1 hour speech for money was like working all day. I have no respect for those people. Glad they found a way up and out. Good for them but they don't need to pretend that they have it just as hard as those working actual jobs.
Is she even rich?Eat the rich and all that.

I would have been great at level 10. But bard's lack a four subclass feature, so it is what it is.I remember noting in my playtest feedback that it's ridiculous that a full caster got Evasion at lv6, a level earlier than Monks/Rogues whose thing that's supposed to be.
But this change is just the silly opposite of that. At lv14, like, people are going to be immune to so many things, what's a little Evasion doing there.
That's me as DM on the left, and any player who wants to play a dance bard on the right. For some reason when I think of college of dance bard I keep thinking about King Leonidas

Just a reminder for next time: you are totally saying you don't think Ginny has earned her wealth.Like I said, congrats to her and those like her who found a way to make a buck streaming and I'm not saying they haven't earned their wealth, I just hate it when they compare it to a (and i know this is frowned upon but I can't think of another term) "real job".
