coming to Seattle area

Guys,
My sister is having a baby, and I will be in Bremerton WA for about a month. I was wondering if I could scare up a game, or if there were any good Game Shops in the area. I would be more than happy to GM or play. There will be alot of family there, so I definately could use some getaway time, either gaming, or having a few beers....I figure gaming would be less expensive. Let me know.

PS...I am 37, just so y'all know, I know some people hate to play with teenagers....

Fantastic Games in Lynnwood is a great store. Pretty easy to get a pickup game of most sorts and the owner (Scott) is very supportive of in-house gaming. Definately a FLGS. I can't say I recommend the WOTC stores, if they are still open.

Wonderworld in Burien has a good selection. Gary Games (I think it's called) is a nice (not so little) store, more centrally located.

If you're willing to drive about (?) an hour, north of Olympia is Olympic Cards and Comics, which is one of the best stores I've seen in a while. Two floors of games, comics, collectibles, toys, and cool stuff. And the staff is very, very knowledgable and very, very friendly.

Thanks for the info. I probably will be taking the ferry to Seattle. Not sure if I will rent a car or not. Like I said, I would love to find/start a game locally for the month...

Monte, let me tell you how much I respect your work. You are one of, if not, the, best designers out there. If you ever make it out this way, we have a FLGS owned by a guy named John Corradin www.daysofknights.com and we would love to have you stop by...I would not be surprised if you know him...wilmark dynasty....we LARP with Ken Rolston and John Mina to name a few...

A little off topic, but it's not everyday someone famous responds to your post....like I said...a game would be welcome, I will miss a month of running my Sunday evening group, so would love to try some ideas I am planning for a future campaign on some different gamers....keep me informed...

I live in Redmond, just east of Seattle and I would be interested in playing in a limited duration game. I lived here since January but I haven't joined an existing games because I didn't feel I had enough time to commit to an ongoing game. I would be interested in playing a game and not GMing.
