Looking at the the image in it's full size veiw on my computer screen, it looked almost splotchy in detail. I can't say I cared for the look.

cheers,

I agree, I noticed that graininess in some of the images. My map was one of those that looked a bit splotchy. It was clear in photoshop befor I sent it, but grainy after it was put up in the forum. If any one knows of a better way to save and transfer those type files I would love to hear it.

I think the problem is the conversion to JPG. You can provide a "quality" setting. 100% results in humongous files, but below 70% you get visible artifacts. I usually use 85% when exporting, but perhaps enlarging such an image would still show artifacts. If you really want to make sure that you don't get any weird effects, use PNG (probably resulting in larger files).

OK, so could tovokas, HALL and Pbartender shoot me an email at russmorrissey at gmail dot com?

In that email please let me know the email address you have registered on RPGNow at. What I'll do is transfer $ to the value of your prize over to your RPGNow account, and then you can purchase the subscription (or, if you already have a sbscription, that's your refund of the price).

I was originally going to send out complimentary copies of the subscription, but apparently that doesn't work. So this is the easiest way to handle it.

Well done to everyone! I enjoyed this immensely, so I'll be holding other competitions as and when I think of them. I hope you all enjoyed participating!

Done.

Thanks again, Morrus. It was a lot of fun to see what I could do under a deadline.
