Complete Adventurer & Races of Destiny Prestige Classes (from Sharn)

True, but I don't think the list is complete. I seem to recall one class Merric has mentioned not on the list. Also, there are a few PrCs that, according to the RPGA reward cards are in the book that are not on the list:

Spell dagger evoker, daggerspell adept, Fochulcan lyrist (I think this is the one Merric mentioned), highland stalker.
Hmm...yep, you're right. Though I still don't think we can call CV PrC heavy just yet. Though I'm using CW as a benchmark, and its hard to call anything else heavy when you compare it to CW ;)

...that's only 18(or somewhere close, could have counted wrong). CArc has 19, while CW has far more than that. I wouldn't call CV PrC heavy at all.

Remember, this is just these classes that are considered appropriate for Sharn. I'm sure there are more that aren't considered very appropriate (either because of the urban focus, or because of the world focus).

The Nightsong classes are from Dragon Magazine, they were written by Monte Cook IIRC. Animal Lord, Beastmaster and Tempest were, IIRC, from Masters of the Wild.

As for the Shadowmind, it is possibly the psionic version of the FRCS' Shadow Disciple. <Link>

I'm amazed "Races of Destiny" is going with a truly new race instead of the half-ogre. Bleah. Hopefully the 3.5 half-ogre is in the chapter on additional races. (And before anyone says anything, the "new" race in "Races of the Wild" is as old as the hills, and almost as old as the half-ogre.)

Look on the cover. It's the Winged Folk.

And lordy, riding dogs haven't gotten any less goofy since 3.0 first hit the streets. I seriously don't understand what the issue is with warponies. :(

It's just that they look at you stupidly when you say "Go, fetch!" And they look especially dumb when they try to sit up and beg or roll over and play dead.

Well, from the practical side, the issue is that an attack dog makes a much more vicious combatant than an "attack pony". And from an aesthetic point, the image of riding a pony into battle certainly isn't any less goofy for me or many other folks

Of course, even big dogs don't really have a build for carrying burdens on their back for long stretches. If you've ever had a dog and a toddler, you know how quickly they get exhausted from this sort of activity (the dog, not the toddler). I guess that's just a matter of breeding though.

You should hear about these guys called the mongols. They rode ponies into battle and there was nothing goofy about them.
