Eva Widermann has been doing some pretty wicked art for Dungeon magazine for over a year...she's one of my favourite D&D artists.

She gives too many 'ladies' manly cheekbones for my tastes and gender confusion seems to be a signature for her.

Though she does pull off the anime eye look for the gnomes quite well.

Anybody else seeing hints of Elmore in this one? That little dragon and her hair have that outline.

Man! Minus that dragon familiar, that would do wonders as a hobbit in middle earth

Maybe all those people saying that gnomes are teh new hobbit were actually right

I was thumbing through the book earlier today and thought to myself that the artwork was quality indeed.

Gender-confused or not. :)

I loved that picture from the moment I saw it. I just wish they hadn't changed her (the master specialist sample character) into an enchanter. She was an illusionist originally, and I think that pic is much more illusionisty than enchantery.

Looks more like William O'Connor than Elmore in that illustration, but I can see a bit of similarity.

Overall the art was decent, just needs more Jason Engle.

Everything needs more Jason Engle.
