With epic rules being intorduced, I'm surprised that we haven't seen another core book, hardcover like Warmachine or Warhammer as opposed to the Miniature's Handbook which needs a few adjustments already and looks to be in need of even more with the epic stuff coming down the line.

Epic is the new 500 point games; we already know the rules, although there may be a few tweaks.

The newest DDM rulebook is always available as a free download on the wizards site.

Yes.

There are 9 Epic figures (or 8):
Marut; Elminister; Aspect of Kord; Rikka, Angelic Avenger; Artemis Entreri; Balor; Death Slaad are the ones we know of.

Correct. The epic figures are standard rares. (So, that's about one every three boosters - 24 rares, of which 8 or 9 are epic).

Each epic figure comes with both a regular stat card and a Epic (500 point) stat card.

That's the list I want. Interesting that almost everything in the CE list is a monster. They really need to make more LG monsters or start using some summoning rules for the mages so that the LG sides can have more monsters and less characters.
