Huh. This actually sounds pretty good!

So, if I've got this correct, a Cleric 6/Wizard 3 would have 4 1st level slots, 3 slots each for 2nd, 3rd, and fourth level spells, and 1 5th level spell slot, knows 4 Cleric cantrips and 3 Wizard cantrips, and (assuming an ability score of 16 in WIS and INT) could prepare 9 first to third Cleric spells and 6 first and second level Wizard spells. This sounds like a very flexible spellcaster. Thanks for the info!

Sounds about right. That 5th level slot could be used for a 5d8+3 (WIS 16) prayer of healing or a 7d6 burning hands for example. Good flexibility and not too far off the power of actual 5th level spells. Cone of cold does 8d6 but much large range. Mass cure wounds only heals 3d8 but at much greater range (Actually seems a bit weak). You get revivify but not raise dead.

This one stings a bit - I'd like to recreate my playtest sorcerer, a draconic sorcerer who fought with heavy armor and a greatsword.

The annoying thing is that I can think of at least great ways to get that same gish feel (blade-pact warlock, war cleric, paladin, and eldritch knight), but none of them quite fit. Cleric and paladin are divine and tied to oaths or gods, eldritch knight uses int rather than Cha, and warlord has a slightly different focus. I'll probably end up making a sorcerer/paladin multiclass and ask the DM to handwave the divine aspect.

Assuming you're not willing to wait the levels to collect the feats for this... Why not a single-level of eldritch knight before starting down the road as sorcerer? That'll get you the proficiencies, and it's a much closer match than hand-waved paladin would be. Sure, it doesn't use Cha as a casting stat, but honestly, I think you'll be okay with that for one level's worth.

Edit: Bah! Ignore me. Totally forgot eldritch knights don't get spells at 1st level. :o

Take the Human Variant and take Weapon Master as your first feat, that will grant you 4 weapon profiencies and a bump to Strength or dex. The Dragon Sorceror really doesn't need heavy armour, he has natural armour, but take a level of fighter, and you'll have your armour and a fighting style.

Alternate 2 Dwarf, Hill I think maybe mountain, for the Armour and use a Great Axe instead.

Alternate 3 Tiefling Paladin Oath of the Ancients which is less dependant upon the Gods then the other two, although i
it can still be connected to them if one chooses. Its got more blastery spells as well, like Ice Storm, Moonbeam, Feeblemind, although it leans more toward Druidish then Wizardy blasting.

I want to play whatever the dice I rolled says I can play. Either 3d6 in order, or 4d6 drop lowest and arrange. I care not, but that is how I want to make D&D characters.

I just hope that when it comes time to roll my character, that my rolls aren't complete garbage lol

A beastmaster. Not the single druid/single pet variety. A true Dar-esque beastmaster. I want a guy who can have two ferrets, a big cat, and an eagle or hawk.

You could in 2nd edition, and there was a PrC in 3rd that allowed it. Usually, though, I don't find any beastmaster classes that are more than a single animal.
