Conquest on the History Channel?

If anyone has seen this show (Conquest, normally on Sunday nights after Mail Call), then you probably know how absolutely awesome it is. It discusses weapons and warriors from various places in time. I have found it a valuable resource for gaming in general, and now I learn that it is in danger of being canceled!

If you have seen this show and want it to remain on the air, then send your e-mails telling A&E Television not to cancel the show to:

Conquest absolutely rocks. I have missed it more and more the last few months, no real reason than just forgetting or they moved the time, not sure.

It is a great show. It would be a shame for it to be cancelled. Perhaps if everyone who donated to save EnWorld wrote one e-mail for every dollar they contributed....

In 300 some odd channels of absolute drivel, Conquest! is one of the few shows that I still watch regularly. We Tivo it all the time.

Man that would really suck if they cancelled it,
That is one of my favorite shows!
It is almost a "must" for gamers!

Seriously, it has a wealth of information on things most of us gamers are interested in.
Tons of info about life in earlier ages besides the "how's and whys" of combat and the equipment used.

I have really learned a lot watching that show.
Now some people on the gaming boards are really big history buffs and probably already know a lot of what is presented on this show, but I am not one of them.
And besides the "useful information"/historical value,
that show is pretty darn funny!

Well I have written email from 2 different email addresses so far, so count me in!

I sent my plea to save Conquest and I requested that they expand it to a one hour length, they really rush through a lot in the 1/2 hour time slot.

I totally agree. The episode on Early Firearms was fantastic, but not as helpful as the episode on Tournaments! It seemed that an episode was made at the right time for my campaign!

And the host, Peter Woodward, is friggin' nuts! He's awesome ... but would you expect less from a technomage?

I've sent in my request that Conquest not be cancelled. I watch very little television, but Conquest is one of the few programs that I do try to watch whenever I can.
