console vs. computer

Oh dear god. Another age-old debate :)

The biggest problem with consoles, in relation to RPGs, is space - you just can't fit as much on a console as you can on a PC, even with the newest generation systems using DVDs.

Other than that, gah, who cares as long as a game is made?

LoL, that was a good one :)

Thank you.

Admittedly I did like FF7 all those years ago when I played it, but the game was lacking...uh game. It was like playing Dragon Warrior fifteen years ago with better graphics and mini games. The last three FF games have the same basic gameplay as the seven and all of them are about as different from each other as the five versions of SF2.

I could have gotten the same enjoyment out of watching some one else play, damning commentary for some thing that's supposed to be interactive (and exactly what a friend has done).

I will always love console gaming but something (like the article about Steel Thunder on TechTV) just can't be done justice on a console :D

I will always prefer computer gaming over console gaming. Not because I see consoles as inferior, but because I don't buy and play enough games to make the expense worthwhile.

Plus I like having everything on my PC. What would I do without it?!
