I'll agree with that.

They still need a CR. They're definitely not as good as a D&D3.5 ogre mage, which many people consider over-CRed anyway.

But, you know, to figure this out, I realized that I need to understand the save DC for incite rage. If it's Cha-based, I only work out DC 15.

Unless I misremembered Ability Focus, it increases an ability's DC by +2.

Also, yeah, I agree with that alternate Damage Reduction for the D&D version.

Alright then, updated.

If all looks to be in order now, we can either move on to another one of the remaining demons or go for something a bit simpler like the Congoraptor.

Alright then, updated.

Hold on, it doesn't say how fast their regeneration is.

Regeneration 5 like the SRD Ogre Magi?

Also I think Challenge Rating 6 is too high. They look roughly equivalent to the CR5 Troll to me.

Finish off the demons!

Description
Drabbuk are a type of disposable demon, created by more powerful demons to serve as guards, bearers, soldiers, and errand runners. Unlike true demons, they are not evil spirits, but flesh animated by the evil of their creator.

A drabbuk appears to be a desiccated corpse of a human - except that its eyes glow a lurid red or ghastly green. Its fingernails are often unnaturally long and sharp, its teeth filed to wicked points.

Encounter
A drabbuk attacks with whatever is at hand. Its favorite weapons are blades, though, and a drabbuk with the luxury of choosing a weapon gravitates towards knives, daggers, machetes, and the occasional sword. Failing that, it attacks with its claws, or with its fists if ordered by its creator to leave the opponent alive.

Drabbuk are difficult to kill because they are not truly alive. A drabbuk that loses all wound or stun points falls dormant for a time until it recovers; one reduced to 0 mortal points is reduced to a collection of twitching body parts. But for a drabbuk to truly die, its brain (or whatever passes for it) must be destroyed. Those who have already destroyed the drabbuk's body can do so at their leisure, but for those in a hurry, a called shot to the head is the best way.

A drabbuk receives no armor bo nus against a successful head shot, and if any wound or mortal damage is inflicted, it explodes for d6 damage to anyone within 2 meters of its body. A previously dismembered drabbuk destroyed in this fashion merely sputters and dissolves, inflicting no damage.

Habitat/Society
Drabbuks are created by demons with more important things to do. They are instruments of destruction, messengers of doom, agents of evil - whatever their creator needs them to be. They serve until destroyed, either by their demon master or opposing forces.

Only demons with the ability to use Diabolism magic can create drabbuk. The demon sacrifices 1 wound point for each drabbuck it wishes to create, then expends 2 FX energy points to cast the spell. Moments later, the drabbuck are born. It is possible for a demon to use the life energy of another creature (a human, for example), but doing so kills the "donor" and creates only a single drabbuk. Though it hurts the demon less, it is not as economical.

Note that this particular spell is beyond the abilities of human diabolists - even the most depraved and malevolent human cannot match the level of "concentrated evil" required to create a drabbuk.[/sblock]

Okay...first off, while it is labeled as a demon, I can't help but feel the flavor leans more toward the drabbuk being an undead creature. Of course, that's just my opinion.

For hit dice, should we grant 1 or 2? It seems low-HD in any case.

The conversion guide grants the following ability scores:
  • Strength 12, Dexterity 12, Constitution 12, Intelligence 8, Wisdom 12, Charisma 6.

While the Constitution score will be lost if it's an undead creature, are there any other notes in favor or against any particular part of the ability score lineup?

Yes, it's definitely a Abyssal extraplanar undead like a Bodak or Devourer.

1-2 Hit Dice seems too weedy even for a "Disposable demon". I was thinking more 3 HD, making them roughly equal to a Dretch.

Drabbuk are a type of disposable demon, created by greater demons to serve as guards, bearers, soldiers, and errand runners. Unlike true demons, they are not evil spirits, but flesh animated by the foul blood of their creator. A demon can kill another creature (a human, for example) to provide some of the life-energy needed to animate a drabbuk, but it must always sacrifice some of its own blood to create one of these monstrosities.

Drabbuks are created by demons with more important things to do. They are instruments of destruction, messengers of doom, agents of evil - whatever their creator needs them to be. They serve until destroyed, either by their demon master or opposing forces.

Drabbuk never disobey their master but are almost as intelligent as humans, so may fulfill their master's bidding with a surprisingly flexible and malign cunning.

Species Traits
Gentle Brute (Ex): At its master's command, a drabbuk can deal nonlethal damage with its claw attacks.

Rejuvenation (Su): A drabbuck reduced to 0 hit points falls apart into a mass of twitching body parts, seemingly slain. In 1d3 days, however, it rises, fully restored, unless its brain is destroyed. A drabbuk that is already "dismantled" (or otherwise helpless) can have its brain destroyed by a full round attack with a lethal weapon. Otherwise, a "live" drabbuk can only be truly slain by destroying the head with a called shot. This requires an attack at a -2 circumstance penalty against Defense 15 that reduces the drabbuk to 0 hp (decapitation, as by vorpal weapons, also automatically destroys the head).

Drabbuk In Dungeons and Dragons
Environment: Any evil-aligned plane
Treasure: None
Alignment: Neutral Evil

Drabbuks are forged deep in the pits of the Abyss by demon lords, most often by Orcus. They crawl in the depths that blasted realm, typically in the company of stronger undead. A drabbuk is somewhat hard to distinguish from a mummy (Spot DC 16 to differentiate the two).
