Converting Dark*Matter Creatures

Alright, updated.

Moving on to possession, there is a possession incantation in the SRD that could be used...but that leaves the question of why the creature would be exhuding shadow. Perhaps darkness or greater darkness as a permanent aura for the possessed being (and possibly Isci ba Fan itself)?

Okay, how's this?

Possession (Su): Once per day, Isci ba Fan can possess any humanoid size Small or larger as a full-round action. This ability works as per the possession incantation.

Aura of Shadow (Su): A near-impenetrable aura of shadows permeates around Isci ba Fan or any creature it possesses for a 10-foot radius. This functions as a short-range deeper darkness spell.

Wow's this one's moving right along! Before I update the stat block with all the SQs, we still have to set up its psionic powers. Any suggestions beyond telepathy?

Well, I'll have to let the psionics experts translate stuff to d20 language, but I'll agree that there should be a fair number of Ps abilities. Probably a good mix of telepathic and offensive.

ESP [18]-clairaudience [20], clairvoyance [20], mind reading [24]; Telepathy [18]-contact [24], illusion [20], mind blast [22], mind shield [22], suggest [22].

Let's see...

ESP = Mind Link
Clairaudience = Clairvoyant Sense
Clairvoyance = Clairvoyant Sense
Mind Reading = Read Thoughts
Contact = ?
Illusion = False Sensory Input?
Mind Blast = Psionic blast
Mind Shield = Thought shield
Suggest = Suggestion, Psionic

Contact seems to be one-way telepathy. It could be replicated by having a psi-like ability that works like missive, but has a larger word count, as it were.

Yep. Now comes my biggest question. I haven't really dug that deep into psionics, so here's the question: do psi-like abilities work on a number of times/day principle, or do you assign power points in a certain manner to the monster? If it's the former, I think I have a good idea of what numbers I'll assign to these powers.
