CR 2 and no treasure work for me.

Okay, so we just have some description left, right?

These creatures look like desiccated human corpses with eyes that glow a lurid red or ghastly green. Its fingernails are often unnaturally long and sharp, its teeth filed to wicked points.

Drabbuk are a type of disposable demon, created by greater demons to serve as guards, bearers, soldiers, and errand runners. Unlike true demons, they are not evil spirits, but flesh animated by the foul blood of their creator. A demon can kill another creature (a human, for example) to provide some of the life-energy needed to animate a drabbuk, but it must always sacrifice some of its own blood to create one of these monstrosities.

Drabbuks are created by demons with more important things to do. They are instruments of destruction, messengers of doom, agents of evil - whatever their creator needs them to be. They serve until destroyed, either by their demon master or opposing forces.

A drabbuk attacks with whatever is at hand. Its favorite weapons are blades, though, and a drabbuk with the luxury of choosing a weapon gravitates towards knives, daggers, machetes, and the occasional sword. Failing that, it attacks with its claws, or with its fists if ordered by its creator to leave the opponent alive. Drabbuk never disobey their master but are almost as intelligent as humans, so may fulfill their master's bidding with a surprisingly flexible and malign cunning.

Seems pretty well done.

I agree.

The only thing I could think of was adding a 7-9 HD (Large) advancement to allow for Drabbuks made from ogres, giants and other oversized anthropoids - or maybe a demon can "frankenstein" a human corpse into a Large drabbuk with enough blood- and tissue-sacrifice?

Well, since we did the lowest of the low, we might as well pick off one of the two remaining top dogs.

Ancient pagan myths among the Slavic people tell of Bielbog and Chernobog, beings of good and evil who fought regularly, establishing the balance of day and night, respectively. Though some modern researchers believe Bielbog may have in fact been an elohim, Chernobog was decidedly demonic, and fear of its return fueled Slavic nightmares for centuries Although popularly depicted in the Disney movie Fantasia as a gigantic, winged gargoyle (and modeled on the features of actor Bela Lugosi), the demon Chernobog initially appeared to mortals as a young, attractive brunette woman in a black dress. However, as times have changed, so has Chernobog’s appearance. It now prefers the unsubtle appearance of an ancient hag, reeking of decay and clad in moldering finery of a decade or so past.

Overall, Chernobog is a particularly unsubtle demon lord. It brings bad fortune, affliction, darkness, despair, and death merely by its presence. When it sets its sights on a given mortal, that mortal is doomed, short of a miracle. But Chernobog is otherwise unconcerned with humanity. It has a personal grudge against the elohim who once defeated it, and is focused primarily on regaining its strength to get revenge. Currently its means to that power is the worship of mortals, though it would sacrifice them at a moment’s notice to pursue a more attractive scheme.

Cults that worship Chernobog operate primarily in the Ukraine and Serbia. They believe that a god of evil must exist to maintain balance in the world, and that Bielbog cravenly attacked Chernobog before their appointed semi-annual battle (on June 8, 1908, 13 days early), imprisoning his nemesis under the earth in Tunguska. Without the god of evil, they say, there is no check on evil men, and with the indiscriminate spread of life energy by Bielbog, evil men live longer than ever before, spreading their taint over the world.

The cultists believe that if they can free Chernobog - perhaps by setting off another blast in Tunguska, similar to the one in 1908 - that the world will return to proper balance. Chernobog, of course, is all too happy to help them, since the release of so much energy might allow the demon to manifest on Earth again. Though their first attempt at Chernobyl was a failure, Chernobog believes that the cultists it spared may still be useful.[/sblock]
Well, first off, the conversion chart gives us the following ability scores:
  • Str 21, Dex 16, Con 22, Int 17, Wis 14, Cha 14.
The mental ability scores seem a bit low for a demon lord, but I'm not sure. Are there any hags or hag-like demons of sufficiently high level to glean data from?

Also, I'm thinking that since Chernobog only has slightly less prowess than Baal-phegor, we might give it somewhere between 28-30 HD.

Finally, it seems to be Medium-sized, although I could go with its natural hag-form being size Large if persuaded.
