That feels a little high, let me mull it over...

Let's see, we made Papa CR 27 and he's got 51 more HD.

The normal Advancement Rule is +1 CR per +2 Dragon HD. With 51 HD the adults would be 25 CR higher, plus they get +2 CR for being 2 sizes larger which would make Junior ...

Challenge Rating 0!

Hmm, that doesn't seem quite right! :p

If we say he's +1 CR per +3 HD and ignore size changes that'd make the adults +17 CR (51/3 = 17), giving Junior...

Challenge Rating 10!

CR 10 feels better. It's 1 CR more than a Triceratops, which has similar hps and trample damage, a better standard attack (Gore +20 2d6+15 vs claw +22 melee 1d10+11) but no DR and much worse AC and saves.

I could see us going to CR 11 to account for its full-attack damage capacity, swallow whole and tail-sweep, but CR 12 feels a bit high.

I'll vote for Challenge Rating 11 then.

That does suggest the grown-up version should be CR 28, if not higher.

Okay then. Using the Advanced Young notes we've got, I'll set the abilitie scores halfway between the baby and the adult's and plug in some appropriate feats.
