Love it! Ready for me to transfer it to Homebrews and move on?

Updated Working Draft.

It had a "suffocate" instead of "breath drain" in the Special Attacks, but I've fixed that.

We were talking about adding a time limit to Ethereal Swallow.

Do you fancy that, say 1d4+1 days?

Something like this (including an option for the gohei 'p'oh to spit the object out again)...

Ethereal Swallow (Su): Once per day, a gohei p'oh in box form can attempt to "swallow" a single opponent (or an unattended object). The gohei p'oh needs to hit the target with a 5 ft. ranged touch attack. The target must succeed at a DC 10 Will save, or be pulled "inside the box" and transferred to the Ethereal Plane at a point contiguous with the gohei p'oh's location. Alternatively, a gohei p'oh can turn itself inside out and become ethereal by "swallowing itself". Swallowed targets remain on the Ethereal Plane for 1d4+1 days and then return to the material plane at its original location. The gohei p'oh can also transfer ethereal creatures or objects to the Material Plane by using ethereal swallow. Note it has to wait 24 hours for its ethereal swallow power to renew itself before it can "regurgitate" something it has swallowed into the ether (including itself). The save DC is Charisma-based.

The "regurgitate" business confuses me a little. Does it have to be on the ethereal plane to transfer an ethereal object to the material? I think I'd drop that bit and just go with our original version. If we decide to add a duration, then just stick in "A swallowed target remains on the Ethereal Plane for 1d4+1 days and then returns to the material plane at its original location." to what we already have.

I had something like that in my original draft, but then I thought it'd be nice if it could stash items in the ether and retrieve them (kind of a poor mage's secret chest, but the phraseology started getting a bit confused.

I don't mind just a duration.

That looks better, I think.

So, are we including that rewording in the Working Draft, either as the standard version or as an option for a less potent Gohei P'oh?

EDIT: Funny, the flavour and tactics seem to have disappeared from the Working Draft, or did I forget to update them? Anyhow, I've Updated the Working Draft. Once we decide which version of Ethereal Swallow to use I think we're good to go.
