Sister in law loves Indian. Every three weeks we go here.

Tikka Masala left, kadai Paneer right.

Medium vindaloo. Bit spicier than the others.

Saag (spinach) chicken.

Wife kept raiding the Tikka Masala as it made a great dip for the Naan breads.

Bread was baked fresh in the tandoor.

I saw photos of someone out there doing Indian/Italian fusion at home a couple months ago, but I lost the gallery.🙁.

They did something like a chicken tikka masala lasagna. Looked GOOD. I told the manager of our 2nd favorite pizzeria * about it, and also suggested a saag paneer-stuffed pasta shells/manicotti. He got very thoughtful. Apparently, the owner is rethinking the menu, and is trying to find room for more fusion & vegetarian options.

Who knows?

* to remind everyone, that’s the one owned & operated by IndIans, that has some fusion pizzas

Instead of pizza we're doing pies. Basically chicken curry in a pie.

Oh Dominoes does Indian pizzas as well. Winter so curry and hot rice is nice as I live in the "cold" part of the country.

An accidental discovery: I made chef salads for dinner the other night, and I actually undercooked the boiled eggs. Their yolks were not hard, but were actually ever so slightly runny.

When I started slicing up the egg in my salad, the runny portion mixed with my Italian vinaigrette to create something a little…decadent.

I might have to try this again with a soft-boiled or poached egg.
