Coolest. Feat. Ever.

Kai Lord

Hero
Expanded Psionics Handbook, p. 47:

Greater Manyshot[General]
You are skilled at firing many arrows at once, even at different opponents.
Benefit: When using the Manyshot feat, you can fire each arrow at a different target instead of firing all of them at the same target. You make a separate attack roll for each arrow, regardless of whether you fire them at separate targets or the same target. Your precision-based damage applies to each arrow fired, and, if you score a critical hit with more than one of the arrows, each critical hit deals critical damage.
Its funny that it debuts in the Psionics book, but Daddy like.

Holy Snikeys they found the "Crow" feat!!! I guess with the Shot on the run feat now you can make them leaps over tents while unloading into crowds of unsuspecting orcs. :]

*(For those of you poor folls who don't know that reference go find the dang movie "Hawk The Slayer"!!!!)

Does anyone here have any real-world experience with bows? Is there some way to explain how this feat works in anything other than plain over-the-top fantasy language?

Dex 17, Manyshot, Point Blank Shot, Rapid Shot, BAB+6. So basically once you get Manyshot you can take this one as your next feat. I guess a Fighter or Ranger could theoretically get it at 6th level.

No, and why should there be? Embrace the irreality. Unleash your inner munchkin. Suspend your disbelief. Go shoot some orcs in da heed!

Not really. Whenever I shoot arrows at orcs in real life I find I can never manage more than one arrow at a time.
