All racial deities designed as "god of race X, whose only interest is to protect and make race X more powerful".

I voted Corellon as he's the most irritating one. For some very strange reason I bet that Moradin is very popular, but he's not at all better than the other racial deities IMO.

The dwarf creation myth beats all the other races' hands-down, partially because there actually IS one and it feels like an actual myth, rather than something some white guys from the Midwest made up.

Hell, Moradin even makes the wonky pre-3E nature of souls and spirits something interesting.

Yondalla got the axe. She's boring.

Not sure who goes next. The case against Vecna seems pretty strong. :]

I actually like Lolth, at least in the broad strokes: I see her as a dark goddess of fate, weaving the threads of destiny to entrap her enemies. What I DON'T like is all the siliness around that, like the driders being outcasts.

Actually there was an Ecology of the Kobold article a little ways back that linked the two in a quite satisfactory way, I felt. Made it so you could have both influences on kobold society without it being a strain. Very tidy.
There was also some information in Races of the Dragon about how Tiamat and Kurtulmak could co-exist (it might even be the same information), but for the purpose of the poll, I was simply picking the deity that I thought was the most redundant. Even during an actual game, I might still go with just one patron god to avoid complicating the storyline.

I find it interesting that the racial core / creator deities (excluding Moradin) are receiving the most votes. I have a feeling that the least well known deities will be the ultimate survivors rather than the best liked deities.

Boccob, because why have a boring geezer magic god when you can have a hot death goddess of the people who brought you the Rain of Fire managing your magic?

Though, if you want some Greyhawk gods I could REALLY do without, take Murlynd and Wastri for a spin. Between the Hopping Prophet and The God of Clint Eastwood-ness I'd even suck up to Boccob.

But not all of the racial dieties are like Corellon--Moradin and Yondalla in particular have their own niche in a pantheon even without their racial ties. Gruumsh makes a better evil Barbarian God than Erythnul--and would be even better if he was mythologically divorced from Corellon.
