I have had some pretty grueling encounters with Kabolds in the past, and not just at low levels. My DM loves to use them because they are worth almost no experience and can really work you over given time to prepare, maybe bring in a few of their spell slingers and a well crafted trap or two.
The simple fact of the matter is, when you are caught in a room with no way out, and kobolds are pelting you with arrows from light crossbows, it really doesn't matter who is pulling the trigger, it hurts.

But this is about their god! And how much he sucks....or blows...your choice.

She was always Lolth, especially back when your MU was killed in Q1, back in the day. The Lloth thing is a typo some diehard novel fans cling to.

This despite the fact that WotC actually corrected it in the more recent printings of the novels. :p

Corellon NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! :)

Obad-hai this time for me but it looks like Vecna, Yondalla and Lolth will be fighting this one out.

I voted for Lolth. She underwent a name change from Llolth to Lolth, detests her own worshippers, and killed my magic-user in the Queen of the DemonWeb Pits adventure when my AP history teacher was DM during a Spring Break class trip to Williamsburg, Virginia.

Once she is gone, I'll vote for Vecna.

Your AP history teacher DM'd a game for you during spring break?? The coolness of at least part of your high school experience should be worth keeping L(l)olth around, if just for the memories.

Obviously, non-Humans in general aren't allowed to have deities...the Elves and Gnomes are done, and early results here show the Hobbits might be next.

Kinda sad, really...

Well, there could be a deity for kuo-toa, thri-kreen, mongrelfolk, werecrocodiles, kender, and every other non-human race out there... that would shaft all the non-demihuman (and non-human) races, however. No one could make enough deities to support them all. Instead, they end up sharing deities. How lame is that?

Oh yeah, if you're a neutral elf bigot (against other elves), who do you worship? And I hope it's not a deity sitting in an obscure 2e supplement, because that doesn't count :D

IMO there never should be racial deities.

I had to vote for Lolth. She can't even keep her priestesses from switching loyalties to Eilistraee every week. Her paranoia-inducements prevent the drow from working together, to the point that any encounter with a drow invariably involves backstabbing.

Drow #1: "You face the adventurers first."

Drow #2: "No you."

Drow #1: "You."

And the curse of Lolth (driders and the favor of Lolth, etc) is just plain interference.
