Cost of a shilelagh quarterstaff

First Post
One of my player has commissioned a quarterstaff that would act
as shilelagh was casted on it. How much should it cost in xp/gold ?
He wants to use it as a double weapon.
The NPC is a Druid 5 Wiz6 (and shifter 5 but it doesn't matter).
Any idea of any cool powers to add ? Or fun material component to get ?
The PC is a Ranger/Druid (I let him use his Vfeats on quarterstaff) and the quarterstaff will probably be its main magic item.

Depends on the players level.

A normal shillelagh is only a +1 weapon with d10 damage... e.g. +2 damage.

That's less than an energy enhancement.

kewl powers: Once per day a Tree shape when he plants the quarterstaff into the ground?

What's depending on the player's level ? (BTW he's 7th)
I was concerned about the fact that it will use it as a double weapon
D10+Str /D10+ 1/2Str and thus it should cost more (twice ? ) as a single weapon.

Tree shape is simple and nice, I should have thought about it, thanks !

7th level ... Means he will soon need a +2 weapon anyways. But well... That shillelagh does not seem too bad to me (he can't use it wildshaped anyhow).

Does he have so good dex and strength that such a good double weapon might be a problem balancewise?

And take care that noone else can use it, just like the spell.

Going from D6/D6 to D10/D10 seems a good improvement and IIRC you have to enchant both hands of a double weapon.
I don't think it's overpowered, I was just wondering what the cost could be (to get an idea of the "amount" the NPC paid).

Thanks for the input.

Uhm... two +1 weapons plus masterwork cost, I'd say .... plus the tree shape spell or so once per day... uhm. Damn. :D
